Determines eligibility for Sutton and Kingston grammar schools. Wilson's School is a selective boys' school that uses a two-stage selection process. First, boys must pass the Selective Eligibility Test (SET) run in conjunction with other local schools. Those who meet the pass mark are then invited to sit a second stage examination comprising English and Mathematics papers. The school offers 9 places for sporting aptitude in football and 9 places for music aptitude. 14 places are reserved for boys eligible to receive Free School Meals. The school motto is 'Non Sibi Sed Omnibus' (Not For Oneself But For All).
